Why DPI matters for pixel conversions
DPI (dots per inch) defines how many pixels correspond to one physical inch. At 300 DPI, 1 inch = 300 pixels. The same 300-pixel dimension would be 2 inches at 150 DPI, or 4.17 inches at 72 DPI. Always specify the DPI when converting between pixels and physical units.
